The Riviera Theatre Chicago is a premier concert and special events venue located in the city's historic Uptown theater district. The Riviera Theatre Chicago was completed in 1917 and originally opened as a cinema. It wasn't until 1986 that the Riviera Theatre Chicago made the transition into a private nightclub, and the facility now stands as one of the city's leading venues of its kind. Although the venue has come a long way from its original structural quality, the Riviera Theatre Chicago's architecture is still noteworthy, featuring a main floor, balcony and fixed theater seats.
